I've tried really hard to enjoy Iconoclasts, but it just won't click. Visuals are great, the music is good. The bosses are the best part as they are so unique, but other than that, you won't find anything that you haven't seen before. Dialogue is not optimised for switch as there are a lot of text boxes, all of which are pretty small, and can strain your eyes after reading for some time in un-docked mode. Story and character writing is okay, not bad, but not very good.
Not a bad game, but I'm struggling to find any reason to keep playing it

I want to give a little nod to Iconoclaust. I got it recently on a sale, and really enjoyed it.

There’s a “relaxed” mode which is basically invincible. Really relaxing, that! But even when invincible I pretty much enjoyed the story. The story is a little over the top manufactured, but it sort of works, with many characters, and the dialogue is rich.

The pixel art graphics are good, controls are pretty good, puzzles are interesting and as a Metroidvania it definitely delivers. I recommend it.
