So much to explore and do. Lots of quests and secrets to uncover. Hyrule is an amazing place to spend a lot of time. This game is perfect. My only wish is for a new game + so I could play it again without losing all my stats, armor etc.

Simply put a masterpiece of a game.

In my opinion, Breath of the Wild is not only the best game available on Switch, but the best video game created to date.

I know I'm in the minority, but I do not like this Zelda game at all. I can think of so many things about it off the bat i just dont like. For instance. Ganon the villain is a mech robot spider thing now? What?.. There is no mini villain like Zant.. Weapons break, what seems like every 3-4 hits. There is barely any store.. And no focus on the triforce at all! In a Zelda game! Are you joking?! No dungeons.. No special equipment like hookshots.. No memorable mini games such as the hook shot game in twilight princess or bombchu game in OoT. I got frustrated after playing it for 10 hours and sold the game. I am no longer a Zelda fan if this is the kind of games that will be Zelda games for now on.

My take: Breath of the Wild will go down in history, to some, as one of the best Zelda games while others may regard it only as the most controversial. There's certainly some truth to both scenarios. Breath of the Wild throws most of the mechanics you've known and grown accustomed to with previous entries completely out the window. In its place is a vast open world with plenty to do. By that, I mean that this game single-handedly kept me glued to my Switch until Mario Kart 8 was released almost two months later. It's just that kind of game.

That being said, the more sand-boxy approach might be off-putting to some. Those that prefer the longer dungeon-style content of past iterations may not enjoy the bite-size shrines of BOTW. Additionally, the weapon durability system seems to be hit or miss for most players. As a complete package it may not be for everyone, but those craving a portable-ready, gigantic open world will likely be satisfied with it.

Literally one of the best Zelda games to date. Now if only they could remake wind waker for switch...

Hands down my favorite Zelda by far..I put in over 100 hours and still not done. Beautiful game in every way. Certain aspects aren't exactly what I would of wanted but this game is nearly perfect. :)

Not much needs to be said. This is a fantastic game! However, it is personally not one of my favorite Zelda games because the story is somewhat lacking and I cannot stand having to deal with weapons that break so quickly. I got maybe 25 hours or so out of this one, but I'd rather play OoT or Wind Waker when I'm in the mood for Zelda.
